As a way to valorise glycerol, the main by-product of biodiesel, this study is focused on production esters p-methoxycinnamic acid and glycerol. These can replace hazardous octylmethoxycinnamate in cosmetic industry, which thought act as an endocrine disruptor interfere with thyroid function.
